12-Year-Old Girl Tells Your Uterus What's Up

Posted by Emily Farris

This little girl is cute, right? Yeah. Just wait until you hear her speak.

She delivered this to her seventh-grade speech class. (Seventh grade speech class?!). We're all for free speech but perhaps a female should go through puberty before she starts speaking out on abortion. We hate to admit, though, that if we were grading her speech, we would have given her an 'A' (well, an B+ based on the fact that she didn't support her facts about breast cancer, infertility, and depression)—as much as it would have killed us to do so.

Things like this make me feel like social liberals need to have their own Quiver Full movement. I mean, how are we going to compete when we're only having one or two kids per family and the other side is having 17 per family? Especially when you read articles about people having genetic predispositions towards political views?

<in a whiny voice while stamping foot> But I don't WANT 17 kids.

God DAMN, that is a focused, eloquent, and self-possessed child. Girl has a knack for public speaking. I just wish the topic were different...
