FOXNews Thinks Mr. Rogers is the Root of All Our Problems and Most Definitely Responsible for the Recession [VIDEO]

Posted by Emily Farris

The geniuses at FOXNews have figured out what's wrong with the world today and it turns out that Mr. Rogers is to blame for everything. Apparently the old man fucked two entire generations of kids by telling them (us!) that they were special just for being who they were. Oops. Apparently, he was way off base and what he should have said was that we would be special only if we worked really hard. Because we need to learn that the world owes us nothing. And, duh, this is true and important because Asian kids who didn't watch Mr. Rogers worked harder than American kids who did.

SO YOU SEE: THE WORLD OWES YOU NOTHING, YOU HEAR?

Maybe you need to hear it again. From FOXNews's mouth to your ear.

This is obviously a stupid way of saying it, but isn't what's wrong with this country that everyone thinks that they deserve everything?  There are not enough resources to provide people with everything that they want.  We can't afford to give people unlimited healthcare, housing, retirement...  I know quite a few people that are sitting around not working because they think the world owes them a fulfilling job that lives up to their aesthetics or a government subsidy in the mean time.  Sadly not everyone is a superstar.  There would be more for everyone if we got over this mentality and took advantage of the opportunities that were presented to us.

Amen, AnthonyB.

Alas, I'm afraid that four years from now (and certainly in eight if Obama is reelected), it will only be much, much worse. I'm no great fan of FOX, and I was a daily viewer of Mr. Rogers until I was seven or eight with apparently no bad consequences, but too many people in this country are greedy AND lazy, a lethal combination for individual liberties.

Those who buy homes they can't afford deserve to lose them, and if you want to go to college, do it like the vast majority of people have done it - get a job and pay your own damn way.

And whenever you see a Libertarian on the ballot - VOTE FOR THEM!

It's true. Asian means knowing that you got to be smart, and even then the world can snatch away everything you worked for. However, if the government starts paying me a teacher's salary for being a physician because of universalized health care, I'll have to turn to the great American tradition of suing.

Umm, wtf - stop blaming tv and blame your crappy parenting skills,  Asian kids different? NO SHIT - They are raised differntly and its not like ALL asian kids are getting an A.

This is rediculous, Stop blaming the kids and the TV and the video games; learn to raise your kids.
