Spoilers: If We Knew What The Hell Was Going On With "Lost," We Wouldn't Blow It For You

Posted by Bryan Christian

So, while we're getting things rolling here...

Obviously one of the great advantages of starting a TV blog in the summer is that when it comes to lots of the big, buzzy shows -- your Gossip Girls, your Offices, your Heroeseses -- the season's over, so we don't have to worry about whether to discuss the big plot points or fan-assembled theories. We can pretty much assume that even all y'all timeshifters have, by now, had a peek at the finale and are pretty much up to speed. But whether you have or not, there are still plenty of shows out there yet to wrap up: your Battlestars, your Weedseses -- and for at least a couple more days, your Losts. So, just so we're all clear on this point: if we wanna talk about something that might considered a spoiler or a plot theory, and it's current by a couple weeks, whether it's a new show or an old one, we're gonna try and put it after the jump. It's common practice these days, sure, but we thought we'd go ahead and commit to it formally.

Now, does this mean that we're gonna maintain as spelled out (and, to our minds, therefore flawed) a policy on spoilers as these guys? Probably not; we prefer to play these things by ear. More importantly, is anyone gonna mind if we occasionally link to stuff that we haven't actually read? We'll tell you if we do, we swear. It's just that, you know: sure, this is our job and all -- but that don't mean we want to know who the Final Cylon is if we don't have to!
