Former Trump Apprentice Rebecca Jarvis Doesn't Give Trump Enough Credit For Trump's Liking And Trump Lets It Be Known

Posted by Jake Kalish

Former contestant on The Apprentice Rebecca Jarvis, now a CNBC reporter, does not mention The Apprentice in CNBC's on-air promo about her. Predictably, this got Donald Trump hot and bothered. And he let Jarvis know in a letter, presumably on Trump stationery, the very best stationery in the world:

In your very nice . . . bio, which airs on CNBC, many facts are mentioned about you, some very unimportant, But the only thing you don't mention is that you were on 'The Apprentice,' which is the sole factor leading to your job at CNBC. How quickly we forget.

He's so incredibly petty, isn't he? It's understandable why Jarvis, playing a grown-up now on TV, might not want to mention her reality-show past. Plus, she does have real experience in the business world. He could, you know, possibly let this go. Jarvis did not respond, but a rep for A CNBC said:

The Apprentice' got Rebecca a courtesy interview, but her intelligence, determination and background in both journalism and investment banking got her everything else.

Bah! No Trump Vodka or Trump Steaks for CNBC.
