Tori Spelling Returns to "90210" Tonight!

Posted by Lindy Parker

Okay, so originally we weren't all that psyched on the idea of Tori Spelling returning to 90210, but then the show actually aired and spent most of the first season sucking, so our standards for what is and is not acceptable have changed somewhat and we've revised our original opinion.  Now, we're stoked to see her because really, what have we got to lose?

Here's a little glimpse at what we can expect from our evening with Donna Martin Silver...

Our suspicion: once they let Tori Spelling on the set, they won't be able to get her to leave -- they'll have to write her into the show permanently, which would be okay with us considering that the show's a bit of a mess anyway, and a Tori Spelling residency would pretty much guarantee us at least one or two episodes with Brian Austin Green.  Can we just keep killing off new characters and replacing them with the old ones until the reboot is exactly the same as the original?

About Lindy Parker

Lindy Parker has worked as a ghostwriter, editor, dance instructor and a purveyor of dreams, one beer at a time. She now writes for hooksexup.com's TV blog, "The Remote Island." She loves Charles Dickens and Gabriel Garcia Marquez and also, straight-to-video releases with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. It's possible she reads more teen fiction than she should. She hails from Los Angeles, her hometown and soul mate, but she lives in Brooklyn, the fling she'll never forget.

Olivia Purnell left Ohio for sunny Los Angeles; then found that she couldn’t ignore New York City’s call, and brought herself to Brooklyn where she has worked with GenArt, BlackBook, the School of American Ballet, and finished an M.A. in Creative Writing from N.Y.U. She loves one-liners with sting and hates the stench of the subway in the summer. That said, she can’t get enough of either.
