Tori Spelling has bailed from The CW's re-enhancementation of Beverly Hills, 90210, after not getting as much scratch as either Jennie Garth or Shannen Doherty. Both Doherty and Garth, you may remember, have been part of decently long-running shows since the original 90210 left the air in 2000. Spelling, on the other hand, has not. Which was probably why while "Jennie and Shannen were signed for between $40,000 and $50,000 per episode, [...] Tori was getting less than $20,000 per episode." And when Tori asked for more, well, that didn't go so well. So, Donna Martin will not be "the owner of one of the coolest stores in Beverly Hills, a shopping spot that is frequented by the new cast of characters," as an early press release announced, and Tori Spelling will be off concentrating on raising her second child like she always intended to do.
To which we say: whew.
