Republicans make up majority of 50 most beautiful people in Washington D.C. list

See that woman above? That's Amy Cheng, who's just been awarded the dubious honor of being the most beautiful person in Washington D.C., making her the 6,769,635,700th most beautiful person in the world at large. (For those of you playing at home, we arrived at that number by subtracting the Washington Metropolitan Area's population from the total world population. Math!) But Cheng, of course, is more than just a statistic — she's a Republican.
The list, compiled by political blog the Hill, ultimately includes twenty-six Republicans, sixteen Democrats, seven Anti-Masonics, two Free Soilers, and zero Communists. D.C.'s most beautiful man (and third-most beautiful person overall on the list) is also a Republican — specifically this one:
So what about D.C.'s hottest liberals? Well, they show up pretty late on the list. The first proper Democrat ranks sixth; he's a man.
And the Dem dames? They're not even ranked! The Hill decided to only assign number values to the top ten politicos and list the remaining forty sans hierarchy. But, using a little bit of critical reasoning and a lot of clicking, one can tell from the ordering of the slides that they think this is D.C.'s most beautiful lady Democrat:

The Republican's are beautiful because they can afford all that plastic surgery from the money they are making by taking taxes from the poor or cutting funding to Planned Parenthood. Just kidding. But truthfully, they might be more beautiful because they stress less about civil liberties. Stress makes you ugly.

I'm all about that! I'd take her any day of the week. She's too high above my mark though. Despite that, I'll spend days fantasizing about her instead of shooting for something within my means, then I'll post lengthy bitter diatribes about it here on Hooksexup. Cool?

I think it's all the bitterness on the left that makes them so unattractive. Nancy Pelosi, for instance, is 35 years old. True story.

Not too surprising, seeing as Republicans outnumber the Democrats on the Hill anyway. Also, the Republican party loves to support and vault into the public their best looking members, because they know the American public likes to vote for those they find attractive.

Republicans hire for looks. You can be an a former nude model with no government experience and get the Republican nomination for senate in Massachusetts. You can be a B-movie actor with Alzheimers and get the Republican nomination for president. That's because all Republicans have to do is stick to the talking points the plutocrats provide. Democrats, on the other hand, have to be able to think. Which is why the Democratic nominee for senate in Massachusetts may be Elizabeth Warren this time around. A Harvard professor, not a former nude model.
Are you willfully ignorant? Scott Brown was in the State Legislature in Massachussetts from 1998-2010 and before that he was an elected local government official from 1992-1998. Ronald Reagan was the Governor of California. If you're an example of a thinking Democrat, I'm not impressed.
That said, I would totally do Amy Cheng.

This is a pretty unimpressive list, frankly. I've been in Washington and seen many people far more attractive than these selections. Either some editors weren't trying very hard, or the were governed by some other agenda.

It's perfectly acceptable to judge Republicans on their looks, as there are no hearts or brains available for evaluation.

For the record, every year this is list is '50 people the editors know who work on the Hill." They are the most attractive people..the people who made the list know. No, seriously. At least this year they have someone other than Southern bottle blondes. DC's no New York, but this list is an annual laughingstock. But Kel, I like your answer best.
personally, the 'hottest woman in dc' is one of the least attractive i've seen. her face looks like she just got into a serious car crash..
