Britney Spears voted "ultimate gay icon"

Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the most ultimate gay icon of them all? According to a poll conducted by the Orange County Equality Project, the honor goes to Britney Spears. The "Baby One More Time" singer (it's the only one I know, I'm straight) won 31% of the vote. Madonna was close behind with 25%, and a poll spokesperson even added a caveat by saying that the "Material Girl" (again, straight) will always be the "greatest" gay icon.
In third and fourth place were Lady Gaga and Katy Perry, which means that, for some reason, only straight female pop singers are allowed to be "ultimate gay icons."

This is why I can't stand most gay other gay guys.
"Ultimate" only until the next one comes along. Didn't Judy Garland used to be the UGI?
Man they must have found some young gays in the OC. Last time I saw Tina Turner perform (at the Greek in LA) I swear half of WeHo were sitting around us, many clasping bouquets of flowers they took down the the front and cast onto the stage. As well as Judy Garland, what about Liz Taylor?
This is so wrong! I know many others I would pick as gay icon, but not this babbling braindead one!
