Giving new resonance to the lyrics "what the hell am I doing here?", Jim Carrey popped up at New York City club Arlene's Grocery over the weekend for a round of rock-and-roll karaoke, where he gave a fittingly aimless performance of Radiohead's "Creep." We're presuming he's singing about his character in The Mask or possibly himself, considering his recent videotaped love letter to Emma Stone. Well, this ode to self-loathing is sure to win over all the ladies half his age. The kids dig Radiohead, right? He also belted out tunes by the Smashing Pumpkins and the Bee Gees.

Watch Jim's ever-growing, public mid-life crisis reach its musical peak. But be forewarned: the footage is blurry and the crowd is rowdy. You know, just like every single karaoke night of your life.

This has got to be one of the most overcooked articles on here in a while. Singing like your drunk uncle hinted at Carey channeling his Tony Clifton from 'Man in the Moon'. It was, in fact, an unremarkable performance and the pop-psych interpretation of the singing of it are a reach.
