Arcade Fire

Fresh off their underdog Grammy win, the Arcade Fire popped up on the streets of Haiti earlier this week for a surprise show at a local hotel. The Canadian collective played a forty-five-minute set consisting of both their own material and an eclectic choice of cover songs, including The Rolling Stones' "The Last Time" and The Paragons'/Blondie's "The Tide is High". But it was Cyndi Lauper's "Girl's Just Want to Have Fun" that really took the night.

While the audio quality is a bit spotty, it's nice to see the band let loose on a karaoke classic. Who would have thought these guys would excel so effortlessly at belting '80s party anthems? Sing it, Regine!

The audio quality is not spotty. It is shitty. I hope this was recorded on some real equipment rather than some dick's camera phone. They could sell a CD/DVD for Haiti relief.
