Arcade Fire to broadcast Madison Square Garden show on YouTube

Pitchfork reports that Arcade Fire's August 5th show at Madison Square Garden will be broadcast live on YouTube. Leaked tracks from their upcoming third album, The Suburbs, find the band breaking out of its usual "relentlessly epic" mold for stuff with a little more range — "Ready to Start" dares to swing a little, and vocals aside, you could mistake "Month of May" for a Misfits single — which should please Arcade Fire skeptics like me and Sasha Frere-Jones.

whoa...it would be weird enough to see them play MSG, let alone on a webstream from MSG.

I support anything that can be mistaken for a Misfits single. I also support anything that allows me to avoid dealing with the attendees of an Arcade Fire concert.
