Mitt Romney refuses to sign anti-gay marriage pledge
By Jessica GentileJuly 13th, 2011, 2:15 pmComments (11)Mitt Romney refused to sign a pledge that rejects gay marriage, divorce, abortion and Sharia law. Of course just because he won't sign off on the inane rhetoric put forth by Iowa's even more inanely-named FAMiLY LEADER organization [sic], it doesn't mean he's for any of the aforementioned concepts. According to his spokesperson, Romney "strongly supports traditional marriage," but that the pledge "contained references and provisions that were undignified and inappropriate for a presidential campaign."
We think Romney's referring to the part that claims African American families were better off during slavery (though they've since removed that bit). Or he could be referring to a whole host of other craziness. But don't you worry — at least the pledge has gotten the approval of Michele Bachmann and Rick Santorum.

When Mitt Romney is the well-adjusted candidate, really, what does that say about your party?
heh, srsly
Pretty sure he just did this to drive the nail into the coffin of the pledge. This definitely helps it seem like this was some extremist, crazy shit for Bachman and Santorum to sign off on. Not saying that it's not true -- just saying that this was a very politically savvy move for Romney.
This standard of journalism is really too low. Sure, Romney is a dick, most sound-minded people reckon the same. But where did all the real journalists go? Is Hooksexup a tabloid now?
Tabloid "now"?
You actually consider what Hooksexup does as journalism?
This is a biased as "reporting" can get if you can call this reporting.
It's entertainment and nothing more.
Giving it the title of "News" doesn't make it so.
Yeah, if you ever came to Hooksexup for its journalism, you're missing the point. They don't collect news, they comment on it.
Dudes, Hooksexup's a blog, not a news site. It's a collective web journal.
RINO.
WTF?
Jules?
