Fox News accidentally uses Tina Fey photo during Sarah Palin story
By Jeff MillsJune 6th, 2011, 8:00 amComments (6)We all know that Tina Fey's resemblance to Sarah Palin is uncanny. And when Fey is spoofing her, you sometimes do a double-take. Well, on Sunday, the Fox News graphics department didn't do a double-take, or double check for that matter, as a still photo of Fey playing Palin, from a 2008 SNL VP-debate sketch, made it onto the air during a segment of America's Election HQ looking into the "real" Palin's 2012 presidential prospects.
It's amusing that Fox wouldn't recognize one of their own employees, and perhaps it's even a Freudian visual slip symbolic of a desire to see anyone other than Palin, including Fey, run for the highest office in the land. This isn't the first time Palin has been misrepresented on Fox. Back in 2009, Fox News management issued an inter-office memo announcing a zero-tolerance policy for "on-screen errors," following an incident where Fox substituted old footage of Palin on the campaign trail for footage purporting to be from a book tour. Enjoy this switcheroo miscue; at least until we get a mistaken photo of Kristen Wiig-as-Michele Bachmann after Bachmann's next inevitable American-history gaffe.

I'm sure they will find some way to blame this on the liberals.
Accidentally... or they were looking for a photo of a younger, slimmer Palin to appeal to viewers. Anyone remember when they used images from a 2000 McCain rally for the 2008 election?
This gives me an idea for a movie! Sarah Palin and Tina Fey have a meeting, and both complain about how the other one has it so much easier... add in a mysterious meteorite or an alien skull or voodoo charm, and *bazoing* they swap places!
People will start thinking something is up when Sarah Palin suddenly sounds a lot smarter, and Tracy Jordan starts to sound sane compared to Liz Lemon.
Moops, god dammit, you are a genius.
No wonder Fox News is experiencing 19% ratings declines!!! They are too incompetent to distinguish SNL's Tina Fey from their their own moose-slaying employee, Mrs. Sarah Palin.
Now you say something
