Hip-hop weirdos Odd Future set to produce Adult Swim pilot

After an insane, garden-gnome-filled performance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last month, the slacker-rappers of Odd Future plan to accost your television set yet again. This time with their own series for Cartoon Network's Adult Swim block of programming. The hip-hop collective is currently producing a pilot, which the band's management describes as "a mixture of Jackass and Chappelle's Show."

Anyone remotely familiar either the youthful California group's in-your-face beats or Adult Swim's ADHD aesthetic knows this is a match made in stoner heaven. We can only imagine Tyler, the Creator getting kicked in the balls while spouting out ridiculous rhymes. If only we could set our DVRs for shows that don't quite exist yet.
