4chan attacks MPAA website

Those mischievous hackers behind 4chan set their sights on another enemy yesterday: The MPAA (a.k.a. the Motion Picture Association of America, whom issue ratings for all films distributed in America).

Oooh, political -- is this another guerilla attack on the puritanical ratings board, their propensity to hand out "R" 's for innocent, same-sex canoodlings? Free the film industry! Fight the power?

Not quite. They're actually targeting a Aiplex Software, an anti-piracy (ergo, anti-4chan) company that busted the huge movie-torrenting site, The Pirate Bay. So 4chan retaliated againt the MPAA (which is kind of the opposite of The Pirate Bay, right?)

How fast you are in such a short time! Aiplex, the bastard hired gun that DDoS’d TPB (The Pirate Bay), is already down! Rejoice, /b/rothers, even if it was at the hands of a single anon that it was done, even if ahead of schedule. now we have our lasers primed, but what do we target now?

We target the bastard group that has thus far led this charge against our websites, like The Pirate Bay. We target MPAA.ORG! The IP is designated at “216.20.162.10″, and our firing time remains THE SAME.

The MPAA's website fell within minutes and regrouped within eighteen hours under another IP address. If only 4chan would channel their weird, off-putting drive into a good cause once more, we might actually support these guys.

They almost sent Justin Bieber to North Korea.

They're holier than Gandhi at this point.

They're sociopathic heroes. Maybe someday they will get the recognition for their actions.
