Chinese mother pimps out daughter on internet

A woman in Beijing has caused an international hubbub by posting a nude video of her twenty-six-year-old daughter on the internet, hoping to find an eligible bachelor for her connubial offspring. Over 1.5 million people have already watched the video on five different dating sites, so I imagine she'll have a few options after this.

The video shows the daughter, who has been identified as actress/model Gan Lulu, showering as her mother complains:

"Oh, see how old you are and still want me to help you wash your back? I am trying to help you find a prospective marriage partner. What kind of qualifications you want — speak them out!"

I'll say this, if it's a publicity stunt, it's a pretty embarrassing one.

Lulu admitted in a blog entry on February 13 that it was indeed her in the video, and that she forgave her mother, understanding that she only had good intentions. "I pity my mum and because she is my mother, no matter what she does, whether it's wrong or right, it will still be right in my heart," she wrote. Maybe Lulu should just get her own place and try some clothed speed dating or something. Below is a censored clip from the video.
