Security loophole leaks Mark Zuckerberg's private Facebook photos

Mark Zuckerberg's personal Facebook photos were leaked yesterday, thanks to a major loophole in his site's privacy settings. As one intrepid blogger demonstrated, a temporary flaw in Facebook's security system allowed users to view otherwise private photos if they flagged another user for inappropriate content. Obviously, they used this to publish a cache of Zuckerberg's private (albeit not especially scandalous) pictures. Mostly, it looks like he spends a lot of time cooking with his girlfriend and his puppy. Yawn.
The anonymous blogger called it "simply terrible programming on Facebook's part" and "inexcusable considering how many engineers and web developers they have working for them." The slip-up comes only a month after a settlement with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission requiring the site to to "establish and maintain a comprehensive privacy program."
The problem has since been fixed, and Facebook released a statement calling the glitch "the result of one of our recent code pushes [that] was live for a limited period of time. Upon discovering the bug, we immediately disabled the system, and will only return functionality once we can confirm the bug has been fixed."
Some might call this karmic justice for Zuckerberg, others a spiteful invasion of privacy. Either way, maybe now he'll start actually caring about his website's security. We can dream, right?

Karma is this guy's last name. Cause every one of his users is a Zucker, and that site is a Titanic that will inevitably meet its 'berg.

I love the site, and am the author of the above comment. Maybe you could have a little "flag user" or "mark as spam" button for comments? We could help you out a little. I enjoy the articles and the comments (for free, I might add) and would love to see Hooksexup expand and get a little more awesome.
Especially after looking at some of these infamous leaked pics, I have no idea how anyone could hate this guy. I feel like he just radiates dorky and likable.
Oh and +1 to the above comment - spam filtering mechanisms aren't hard. I'd prefer to go through a CAPTCHA system over reading these ads.
Hate captchas. Would agree with the above comment though. However, I actually tend to ignore most of them. What bothers me most is the one who likes to troll himself in the comment sections by arguing under different names.
As long as the captchas are the double ones, then I'm all for that. Maybe we can do that for NDC too so we can post more often!
