Mary-Louise Parker better get a lot more comfortable with showing her assets on screen: According to sources over at Fleshbot, HBO competitor Showtime has issued an memorandum: Show us your stuff, or go home.

Warning: NSFW image of Kelly Huddleston (with John Lithgow), after the jump.

Between the boobage on Californication and Weeds, the network wasn't exactly prudish before this announcement, but now rumors abound about some naked nastiness on the fourth season of their hit show, Dexter. (That would explain the appearance of Lithgow, who's already been slated to play the foil to our murderous anti-hero this season.)

And while we are all about seeing more T&A on our TiVo's (that's why people pay for HBO and Showtime, right?), what we'd actually like to see is some more junk of the male variety. Breasts are well and good (they're actually great!) but there's a little bit of a gender inequality when Duchovny and Michael C. Hall are forced to keep their family jewels off-screen while producers encourage their multiple victims and/or playmates to disrobe at the drop of a ratings' hat.

That first episode of Dexter's new season has leaked, and for the record, there are at least a couple shots of John Lithgow's naked ass. Something tells me that's not what you were looking for.

That's typical for the "leading" types though, isn't it? It's always the victims/secondaries/etc who show their bits. Until THEY start executive-producing.

Let me clarify that I am not suggesting we should not see Michael C Hall's bits... We definitely should. Perhaps if we're very very good children...

Showing tits and ass is one thing. Showing cock and balls would be the equivalent of showing labia. So until the secondary characters start showing "everything", I wouldn't bitch too much about inequality.

There was nudity (female at least) in the first three seasons of Dexter. Wife and I are in the middle of Netflixing Season Three right now. I have to say I am a bit sad it's gone so far away from the books. It's not as dark and yet only about the same amount funny.
