Jon Hamm's Old Adult-Film Career

Appearing on The Late Show with David Letterman Friday night, the Mad Men star revealed his "proudest moment" of career stagnation in Hollywood: working on late-night Cinemax movies. See, the universe does answer prayers.

Sadly, as the Oprah-endorsed The Secret reminds us, the universe is dumb and you have to be very specific. So all those times I repeated the phrase, "Jon Hamm will have a secret porn past,"  I should have mentioned, "and not as a set dresser." (I really should have learned my lesson after my "I want a female vice-presidential nominee" debacle.)

All kidding aside, Hamm continues to be his extremely affable self while telling his not actually very sordid tale. He also uses the phrase "nude-ular activity," which coming from him is super cute. Watch the clip below.
