Beyonce Is Pregnant! Oh Wait, Probably Not

A report surfaced on Mediatakeout.com today that Beyonce and Jay Z are expecting their first child. Great job breaking the story, guys! Except it turns out that the site has actually reported several pregnancy stories that were...dubious. Questionable. Less than true. Outright lies, one might say.

And, while Bey and Jay are married and, I would assume, doing it on the regular, she's having a kind of Lady Gaga-adjacent moment right now, so it's probably not the best time for her to be with child. In my mind, Beyonce plans such things down to almost scary levels of detail.

Also not helping the claim is this extra tidbit from the report:

According to our source Beyonce is doing fine and resting (for now), but she's expected to continue working throughout her pregnancy. And we're also told that Jay Z is EXTREMELY happy to be having his first child with Bey.

Uh, what? First of all, she's "doing fine and resting"? Was she also in a minor fender-bender? Now, I am a guy in my early twenties, I don't have a ton of experience with pregnancy, but is that really the first thing you do when you find out your pregnant? Secondly, that jinx-y "for now" is kind of a dick move, wouldn't you say?

Anyway, long story short, Beyonce is or isn't pregnant. News!
