Listen: Beck and Devendra Banhart's song for the latest Todd Solondz film

If you've seen Life During Wartime, you probably noticed Shirley Henderson's Joy (above) playing a catchy little ditty on her guitar. You might have also noticed that that same song played during the film's closing credits, but with male vocals in place of Henderson's squeaky stylings.

"What is the meaning of this?" you probably wondered. "Solondz!" you definitely shouted toward the heavens. But relax, because it's just Beck and Devendra Banhart. The indie-folk bros collaborated to record the movie's title song, which you can now enjoy from the comfort of your Solondz-free home.

I really like this. There's something nostalgic about it.

Despite it's association with Solondz, this is a pretty good track.

It's got a touch of the Marc Bolan about it.
