You know those girls who start dreaming about their engagement rings while they're still in the womb? They practically have "cut, carat, clarity" tattooed on the small of their back, that's how obsessed they are? Yeah, I'm so not that girl. It may be that I just don't care for rings so much (or getting engaged, for that matter), or it might be that I oddly don't consider diamonds this girl's best friend. I'll admit that a pretty antique diamond engagement ring might make my heart a bit a-flutter, but in the absence of vintage, I'd just assume go with something like this:
