That's Gizmo (on the left). He's adorable.
But sometimes, in the dark of the night, I think it might be cool to have a robot friend too. Because, well, I'm still of the mind that if I actually own a robot...then obviously, hover cars are right around the corner.
A look at some of the robots I've considered:

This little guy is a dance machine. Literally! (Oh yes I did.) And so am I! Not literally! We could dance together to Pulp and the Beatards!
[$199, Target]
Because I'm lazy.
[$49.99, ThinkGeek]
Because my bed is too comfortable for its own good, and the DangerBomb Clock stresses me out.
[$309.99, ThinkGeek]
Because I really liked the first Jurassic Park movie and this thing is just about alive and maybe it could be friends with my cats! I'm really just hella curious, as well, as to how my cats would respond to this thing.

Okay, actually? This is the robot dinosaur my husband tried to convince me to buy him for xmas. I thought about it. I really did. But with a length of 32 inches, and a height of 10 inches, where in heck were we supposed to store that in our one-bedroom!? I mean, the slow cooker is still sitting on the floor in front of the hall closet! Plus, I know that the hubby only wants to use it to terrorize the cats.
