I have a ginormous cold today*, which comes from the rapid changes back and forth in the weather. I can deal with consistent cold, consistent hot, or consistent… Medium? I dunknow. But for some reason, you rapidly fluctuate the temperature, and my body breaks faster than stone in a similar circumstance.
With the recent, terrifying revelation that AirBorne does absolutely nothing to help prevent colds, I’ve had to go back to my old ways of healing a cold. Tissues, chicken soup, a warm blanket, blah, blah, blah... What about the really important stuff?
1. A Big Mug
I drink a ridiculous amount of tea when I’m sick, and an enormous amount of liquids constantly anyway. So a dinky mug isn’t what I want… I want something that will hold more than a simple mugful. Now, I’m not saying there’s a particular reason I love this Eleanor Roosevelt quote mug other than the size. It’s not like the quote resonates for me particularly. But it’s definitely my favorite mug, because it’s like a mug of tea, and a half.

2. A Terrible Movie
When I’m sick, I’d really rather not use my brain. In fact, I’d rather just have loud, flashy stuff happen in a ridiculous manner. And if that’s what you want, then Transporter and Transporter 2 are your movies. Luckily, they’re now available in one ridiculous collection. Hooray!

So, what are your needs when you have a sick day, Materialistas?
