Most of these are concepts, and some of them are just art. But most of the products produced by d-Vision, a design collective, are jaw-droppingly beautiful. I’ve highlighted a couple, like the cutlery above, and you can check out the rest at their website.
Bubblicious: A fruit tray that finds a different center of gravity based on how much fruit is placed in the bowl, and where. I don’t know why I’ve been so into things that look like clouds lately, but I have, so deal with it.
A Puddle Frozen in Time: Functional, and awesome looking, this tray allows you to properly balance a tray by sticking your thumb through it. Oh, and it looks like you’re breaking through ice. But you knew that.
BBQ Tray: It’s a little grotesque, but the idea is that you carry your meat to the grill in this tray, and as you walk, the “fluids” fill the veins in the tray. I mean, at the point that you’re carrying meat to cook and eat it, I don’t know how much of a statement it makes. But it’s darn cool.
There are tons more designs at their website, so check them out.
