I was recently reading Jessica Abel’s superb graphic novel La Perdida, and there’s a pretty funny, and achingly true recurring bit where one of characters keeps talking about becoming a DJ… Except he doesn’t really know anything about music, owns only two records, and keeps talking about buying turntables, but never does. The juxtaposition is that the characters are exceedingly poor, often not knowing where their food is coming from week to week, yet this guy thinks he can buy turntables.
Well, I’ll tell you, he definitely can’t buy these stunningly gorgeous Montegiro Lusso Turntables, from Germany.
