What Would You Rather: Scrabble vs. Scrabulous

Posted by Emily Farris

You must have seen this one coming. As we reported last week, Hasbro and Mattel, the manufacturers of the "real" Scrabble are trying to pull Scrabulous, the Facebook application that's almost exactly like the "real" Scrabble, down from the Internets.

So, which would you rather? Scrabble, which you can play with friends and booze? Or Scrabulous, which you can play in your underwear, with friends online with booze? Not that we've never played the real Scrabble in our underwear, because we sure have. With booze, too.

Scrabble is the rose petals and candles of love-making. Scrabulous is a quick bj behind the bar. They both have their place :)

Yup, Scrabulous for me too.  My Scrabble board is sitting and collecting dust, meanwhile I've got a bunch of Scrabulous games going on with friends and family all over the continent.  I can do in my PJs, while I'm at work, at my convenience, and better still, I can take my time and actually put move my tiles around on the board before making a move.  It becomes a totally different game online (although not by copyright standards, obviously), and I happen to like it a bit better.
