Sloppy Seconds: George Clooney is to Hillary Clinton as Daniel Day Lewis is to Barack Obama

Posted by Emily Farris

George Clooney thinks he's the Hillary Clinton of the Oscars, with Daniel Day Lewis starring as Obama. And he thinks that's bad news for himself and Hillary.

Priscilla Presley joins the newest cast of Dancing With the Stars.

Will.I.Am is planning a second Obama video.

Call us "white trash" if you want, but there's a reason we always take our drink to the bathroom.

Because his face is currently imploding—making him unavailable for photo shoots— Janet Jackson posed as her brother Michael for the cover of Vibe. (In all honesty, we don't know why she did it, but that guess is as good as any, right?)

We're not fans of diamonds, and if we ever get engaged, we want something fairly traded (hear that, gentlemen?) or this fucking killer ring that gives new meaning to "blood diamond." Bonus if you find a fair-trade killer diamond.

Man ifeel silly fot two reason blogging the following post.  #1 I'm currently surfing the Enternet, which menans I'm noot iom the internet, which means I'm only operating on my machine thus not connected to the web #2 I'm a mamnber of another website blog gathering and repeating myself makes me feel like I want to believe I know what I'm talkng about among folks, who, incidently, DO knio w what they're talking about.  In conclusion:  I first noticed Daniel Day Lewis ( if I saw a list of his work II'd proably seen him before) in Gangs of New YOrk.  Billthe Butcher.  Who got the aard instead of him that year...Brody? The pianist (maybe).  Equally good in my opinion, but with Lewis character there was a new element.  And with THere will be blood, the enitre character/performance is "that".  Its new acting.  Again, I've never been to theater nor won a Tony and had to give it back to Raquel Welch, ... any way - The question has actually arisen, whether he shuld get it? Speculation exists?  Well of course it does.  Case in point:  Edward Norton American History X.  Acting taken to another level, but not like Lewis Here {what the falk;) am I talking about}.  Actually Lewsis shouldn't get it, becasue his performance was outside the relm of everyOne elses.  Maybe they should issue a new award.  I've never experienced acting like that.  And the chemistry between him and the kid preacher? Spell binding!  On a personal note (yes, sarcasm WHAT THE FlaK DOES SPELLBINDING MEAN?  The se adjectives in movie review?  Nobody says that shit! ... Javier Borden.  I only saw the movie once so far, haven't read the book or any McKarthy, not yet anyway, man my favorite scene is near the end when he's wating for the wife in the bedroom sitting in that char and she'slike "You don't have to do this"  and that creepy ass smile surfaces "That's what they all say"  , like a child commenting on --Idon't know.  Whatever.  FREE SPEECH
