Award Season Kicked into Gear, Critics Choose

Posted by Scanner Matt

The Dark Knight and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button are looking pretty good, while Revolutionary Road was shunned. Is Brad Pitt going to finally pull off some big wins or will Mickey Rourke solidify his comeback with a few trophies?

The Broadcast Film Critics Associations is usually a good barometer for Academy Award nominations (as the Golden Globe Awards usually throw us a few curveballs).

what is Dark Knight doing in best acting ensemble? Everybody in that cast aside from Heath Ledger were so devoid of personality that Christian Bale's Batman voice almost seemed like a good idea.
