  • Miley Cyrus Has a Confession to Make

In the below video from her appearance on The Ellen Degeneres Show, Miley Cyrus giggles so much she nearly pulls a muscle. She also lays down in her chair and shreaks. Miley has the giggle of a 50-year-old lifelong smoker, and yet, still, again, Miley comes off looking like a pretty typical 16-year-old girl. How is this possible? We are completely baffled by her ability to remain genuine-seeming while selling concert tickets for $3,000 apiece.

Will someone please watch the Ellen clip and explain all this to us?

  • The Anthem That Started It All

While every other blog in the world is showing the frightening clip of 8-year-old Anthony Gargiula singing "Let it Snow" on the Today show, we decided to find the YouTube clip that made him famous (more than 2 million views) in the first place. It's from way back when, when he was 7 and before he was famous and on the Ellen show. While this is not nearly as creepy as Today's (probably because he's not wearing make-up and a festive sweater), it's creepy nonetheless. But hey, the kid can sing, even if his voice reminds us a little of Wynonna Judd. At least he's better than Fergie.

  • What's Up With Ellen?

First there's Iggygate, then she breaks the Writers Strike to do her show (anyone see the Wedgie Kids?), and now a planned jaunt to shoot in NYC has been scuttled.

Is she spending too much time on this variety show over on TBS? Better question: Ellen's doing a variety show on TBS?

Whatever. We just wanted to see if we could do a fake book cover gag in, like, 10 minutes. Looks like we need a little more practice.
