Rutgers to allow for opposite-sex roommates
In response to concerns from gay and transgender students, Rutgers University has announced plans for gender-neutral housing options, which would allow opposite-sex roommates to live together. Sexual preference is not a criterion for eligibility, so straight couples (or perfect strangers) will also have the option to live together with an opposite-sex roommate. The university's decision is being welcomed on all sides as the right move for the students, but I can't help but think of all the relationships that have been derailed throughout dating history by the dreaded move-in.

Rutgers isn't exactly the first university to offer gender-neutral housing, so what makes them worthy of the news tidbit?

I think the crotch grab is an accepted form of greeting among the indie spirit people.
