Brad Pitt trying to produce Chilean miner movie
By Ray RahmanNovember 15th, 2010, 11:45 amComments (1)Already! Brad Pitt's production company Plan B is looking to secure the movie rights to tell the saga of those once-trapped and since-rescued Chilean miners. The company is reportedly in talks with the Chilean miners' Chilean lawyers, offering millions and millions of dollars to tell the tale that's been told only everywhere, all the time.
It seems as though Plan B is also trying to put some of the 33 miners in the film, which makes sense because, wait a minute, does Hollywood even have 33 Hispanic actors? Maybe Angelina Jolie will have to adopt some? In any case, this movie — if it ends up happening, which it likely will — will probably be a good one. Especially if it includes their various romantic entanglements, because those dudes were some Chilean ballers.
