Winona Ryder will always be ahead of the curve when it comes to life. Cool in a way that you can only dream of one day becoming, or at least so she'd like you to believe. This time, in an interview with GQ, Ryder, currently appearing in Black Swan, talks about how fifteen years ago at "one of those big Hollywood parties" (is there any other kind?) Mel Gibson displayed his now famous animosity toward Jews, gays, and all things not Mel Gibson in a (surprise!) drunken rant.
While we can only go on Ryder's word, she says that Gibson made "a horrible gay joke" and when he found out that Ryder is Jewish he made a comment about "oven dodgers." He presumably then made the Curly noise from The Three Stooges — "whoop, whoop, whoop." Ryder added that nobody believed her when she called him anti-Semitic and homophobic.
With this new allegation, the Gibson rant could turn into one of the those competitions we usually only see with bands: "I knew he was racist back when he was doing the first Mad Max."
