God-fearing Christians have been telling us for years that the apocalypse is nigh. But how will we know when the end times finally get here, you ask? According to Rev. Franklin Graham, son of Billy, the same way you know everything else — social media. Here's what he had to say regarding the matter in an Easter interview with Christiane Amanpour:

The Bible says that every eye is going to see it. And, you know, I thought how in the whole world is that going to happen? There's so many phones today. And just look at what's happening in Libya or Egypt and everyone's got their phone out and taking recordings and posting it on YouTube or sending it to you, and it gets shown around the world, or — I don't know — but they said that he'll be coming on the clouds and the world is going to moan. They're going to groan.

What better vehicle than Facebook for an omnipotent deity to announce his wrath? I can just imagine #secondcoming emerging as a trending topic on Twitter, as people the world over try and cram incidents of floods and fires into one-hundred-and-forty characters. You better get your iPhones ready.

Well, in his defense, if the fucking rivers turn to blood or whatever, people probably will Tweet about it. I mean, the weird part is that he thinks the Apocalypse is coming, not that he thinks people might talk about it on Facebook.

A lyric from Jesus Christ Superstar seems appropriate here: "If you'd come today you could have reached the whole nation / Israel in 4 B.C. had no mass communication"

"-the world is going to moan. They're going to groan."
So, everybody's gonna pop a big O when they see the face of Jesus??? Cool.
