Evolution refuted by Facebook group

One student's teacher, as well as Charles Darwin, was put to shame recently on Facebook, when the student, taking out Science in one fell swoop, definitively stated that she didn't evolve from a monkey. Case closed. The origins debate has finally been solved, and we don't have to waste any more time on it. It was right there in front of us the whole time. The monkeys who didn't turn human. Of course!
The names of those responsible for the earth-shattering breakthrough have been blurred as per their request, humbly claiming that they are mere vessels of Truth, and that the knowledge rightfully belongs to mankind. But what about Planet of the Apes? Now I'm confused again. I guess the following ditty is useless now.

While we're getting our Luddite on today... I'll just go ahead and refute Facebook, while we're at it. Next stop? Making sure I don't exceed 20mph on my velocipede so all the air won't get sucked out of my lungs.

It's only a "theory" that babies are born from parent. After all, if children come from grownups, how come there are still grownups around?
These kids may have a point. A monkey is far more evolved than they are. Going from a monkey to them would be the exact opposite of evolution.

Facebook is where all the truth lies. Evolution is silliness.
Note: humans infact may not have evolved from monkeys. Humans and monkeys probably diverged from a common ancestor and therefore are in sister taxa. While these people lack logic, most others lack scientific knowledge and fall into this common mistake, which may be just as bad.
Clearly, those who who think Jesus rode a dinosaur 6,000 years ago are lacking in the logic dept.
