A compliment is usually good. Of course, a good home-cooked meal is sure to impress. I believe the old expression that "the quickest way to a man's heart is through his stomach" still holds true. Wild dance moves always catch my eye, too.

Maybe some exercise to loosen up after being stuck inside. Then a dip in a hot spring or a sauna. A little sip of spirits is also a nice way to relax.

Be yourself. If you like someone, or think you might, do something nice for them. In my experience picking a few wild posies for a lass never hurt one bit.

Hang out with a group of people with whom you have common interests and who are not all hitched up with each other. Then make the effort to just have fun, without pressuring yourself to "find a lay." While you're having fun, make sure to keep a keen eye for the subtle messages that are sent your way.

Personally, I have never had a Ghost moment. All the guys I've dated are not really into getting down and dirty with mud. I definitely think it would be hot!

If you're a decent-looking girl, half-naked and moving in a slightly seductive way, I think the guy is going to be too distracted to critique your dancing abilities.

Hiking is always a good way to learn about someone you are interested in, and all you need to buy is some water. You figure out if the guy is a wuss — how he handles difficult situations — and the only distraction from good conversation is the great outdoors. If the hike goes well, then hit a bar and drink some tasty beer before the soreness kicks in. If the hike was a disaster, tell him you are too tired and sore to do anything else.
