Heather Locklear And Bon Jovi's Guitarist Are Worse Parents Than Billy Ray Cyrus

How old should your daughter be before you push her into a career of anorexia and body disorders? Okay, if you're a pageant parent than we guess that age is "in utero," but we generally find it in poor taste to use your child to gain the success and attention you never got growing up until they're at least old enough to resent you for it. Heather Locklear and Richie Sambora are really toeing the line here with their 12-year old Ava, who was recently featured in L.A.'s Fashion Week for a runway show entitled "White Trash" while daddy's "Livin' On A Prayer" boomed from the loudspeakers.

Says Styleite:

The celeb daughter was reportedly confident and poised as she aptly hit the catwalk... walking in four different looks from the collection, which Lund says was designed to appeal to the "femme fatale" or "white trash diva" in every woman.

On the plus side, we're pretty sure that's enough evidence to legally divorce your parents, Drew Barrymore-style.

Is it really that bad? She's twelve, she almost certainly wanted to model and her famous parents made it happen for her. If anything, they're too indulgent.

Yeah, from what I remember about being 12, being a model is every girl's worst nightmare.

Maybe it's not modeling so much as what she's modeling. Not sure I'd want my 12-year-old modeling "femme fatale" or "white trash diva" looks.

You said it Mandy..."your daughter" which she isn't. Like most 12y/o girls (myself included a long time ago) she probably wants nothing more than to be a model. So if her rich and connected parents can make that happen for her so what? Maybe mom can give her a little sagely wisdom about the business.

As easy as it is to label parents as 'bad,' these could be doing much, much worse. Besides, she's only 12; wait and see where the teenage years take her.
