Hitting two of today’s posting requirements at once, this bad boy is both green (colored), and green (eco-friendly). Now, I should get this out of the way before we get into it: I have a Black Thumb. Meaning, if you bring a plant near me, it will die. It’s not that I hate plants; I actually like them a lot. I just forget that they’re there. If, maybe, they said something like “Hey, water me,” I might not kill them quite as frequently, but I don’t see that happening any time soon.
So imagine my surprise upon getting the AeroGarden as a gift… Especially since it has the one requirement that will make me pay attention to it: it’s also a gadget. Yes, I like technology more than living things. What blog have YOU been reading?
The AeroGarden grows plants aeroponically in pods, has an attached lamp to simulate the sun, and will grow anything from herbs, to herbs (yeah, you know what I mean). There’s a number of different models, but why not splurge on the Deluxe AeroGarden, which grows plants as large as tomatoes. Or, you know, other large plants. Cough. Wheeze. Hack.
