What Exactly are They Getting at in This Schick Commercial?

Posted by Colleen Kane

We can't say for sure, but we think when the ladies sing "mow the lawn" in this commercial, they might not really be talking about grass and lawnmowers...

I think it's saying that if you want your wife to mow the lawn you should paint the lawnmower pink.

This is hilarious. I wrote about a briefer but similar ad by Schick the other day: www.examiner.com/x-1916-Sex--Relationships-Examiner~y2009m3d31-Trimming-the-hedges-Fun-new-ad-campaign-for-Schick-Quattro-TrimStyle-for-Women

Is grooming your personals supposed to brighten your day or something? I don't get it.

Shick wants you to keep things nice and tidy and display the tulips.  Took a couple times to catch all the message.  Guess this is a girly thing for which guys enjoy the finished edges.  Where does wax fit in?

For the record, I just bought one of these yesterday for about $12. I think it's a great idea, and the US TV ads hit just the right note. Unfortunately, the clipper is pretty weak.
