Okay, we admit it. Every now and then, like when we have the flu and can't get out of bed, or we can't sleep and find ourselves channel surfing late at night with a bowl of ramen noodles in our lap, we find Hannah Montana downright hilarious (except for that creepy episode where the amibiguously inbred, and not-so-ambiguously lecherous Uncle Earl tries to copy Hannah's choreography -- we hate that episode). But we have to say, much as we're not Hannah Montana haters, we still can't understand why there's such an uproar over rumors that Miley Cyrus might be looking to move on from her Disney Channel series...
As far as we can tell, she said something akin to, "I'm thinking maybe it might be time to quit soon, and maybe, possibly do something else," and everyone was like, (gasp!) "Miley hates the Disney Channel! She's biting the hand that feeds her! That ungrateful hussy!" Our feeling is: Please. She's been on this show since she was eleven -- how long can it really last? As long as she's abiding by her contract we can't see what the big deal is, although truthfully we're not totally sold on her post-Hannah Montana career. Look what happened to Hilary Duff.
