And we thought we'd never find leftovers so appealing this close to Thanksgiving!

The NHL has suspended the Dallas Stars' Sean Avery, former boyfriend of Elisha Cuthbert, indefinitely for saying this to reporters:
Uh, I'm really happy to be back in Calgary. I love Canada. And I just want to comment on how it's become like a common thing in the NHL for guys to fall in love with my sloppy seconds. I don't know what that's about. Enjoy the game tonight.
The "sloppy seconds" to which Avery is referring also goes by the name of Elisha Cuthbert, of 24 and our recurring fantasies fame. See, Cuthbert, who is Canadian, has a thing for hockey players. She once dated Avery, an attention-seeking provocateur (think white Dennis Rodman, but more metrosexual, and with a penchant for fistfights and who, weirdly, worked this past summer as an unpaid intern at Vogue).
Things didn't work out for Elisha and Sean, perhaps because he's famously an asshole, so she was then briefly linked to Mike Komisarek of the Montreal Canadiens - and is now the girlfriend of the Calgary Flames' Dion Phaneuf. So that's who Avery was talking about in his fratboy-after-a-sixpack manner. Still, indefinite suspension just for being a doosh, from a league where in-game physical assault is tolerated on a nightly basis? Bet the Stars' owner, Tom Hicks, will be up in arms:
I completely support the league's decision to suspend Sean Avery. Had the league not have suspended him, the Dallas Stars would have. This organization will not tolerate such behavior, especially from a member of our hockey team. We hold our team to a higher standard and will continue to do so.
Oh. Never mind. Watch the video of this doosh being dooshy, and judge for yourself.
