On the Dutch TV show Devil's Advocate, a jury of two men and three women, along with the studio audience, found there was no proof Bin Laden masterminded the September 11th attacks, and that his connection to the attacks was the result of "Western propoganda."
Well, that's offensive. Does this mean we have to like, not take our trip to Amsterdam in protest? Can't we protest there? We think our protest could really be most effective in, say, a "coffee shop" in the red light district...
The show features star defense attorney Gerard Spong standing up for some of the world's worst criminals.
In the latest show, Spong was able to convince the jury that bin Laden's connection to September 11 was a product of "Western propaganda." The jury also ruled there was insufficient evidence to prove bin Laden was the real head of terrorist network al-Qaida. The jury did rule, however, that bin Laden is a "terrorist who has misused Islam."
Hey, ya think? Sure you want to go that far, Dutch TV jury?
