FYI, that's Building 54 (aka, the Green Building).
Prof, I saw the video and my question is, what kind of building has that sort of lighting OPTIONS, let alone controls?

It's still pretty f*****g cool. Back in my day, the Green Building hacks simply involved putting certain lights on to spell things out. This is a whole new level.
Amusing (I hope) nerdly story: Legend has it that if all the lights on the Green Building go off, the world will not see dawn. The Green Building was between my dorm and the main buildings, so I passed it regularly. Twice -- in my years there, only twice -- the lights on one side were all out. Both times I went around to the back side to confirm that some lights were on there, and the world continued.
