Jane Lynch will host "Saturday Night Live"

Perfect. Just perfect. In a move that may very well be the "Betty White" of season thirty-six, Saturday Night Live has chosen Jane Lynch to host their show. The insanely talented comic actress — who honed her skills at Second City, like many SNL alums —will take the lad on October 9th. It's going to be a good season for one of our favorite actresses; according to Movieline:

It promises to be a big fall for Lynch: She’s the frontrunner for the Supporting Actress in a Comedy trophy at the Emmy Awards on August 29, then she’ll return as villainous cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester when Glee has its second season premiere September 21.

I think this is the perfect time to highlight some of Lynch's early work, for the respected brand Frosted Flakes. (Apparently directed by Christopher Guest? I don't know. I'll believe most anything written on the Internet. Obama was born in Kenya, right?)
