Watch Keanu Reeves discuss Bill & Ted 3, impersonate Werner Herzog

Despite the advancing age of its would-be stars (Keanu Reeves is almost fifty!), rumors persist about a third Bill and Ted film. This clip sees Reeves discussing the possibilities after Bill and Ted costar Alex Winter mentioned same at a recent L.A. screening of the two original films. Whatever your feelings about that long-dormant franchise (mine: Excellent Adventure = fun, Bogus Journey = never as much fun as you think it's going to be), the most entertaining thing about this clip is Reeves' impression of Werner Herzog, whom he jokingly mentions as a potential director. It's actually pretty spot-on. Maybe we should give Reeves more credit.

I thought the impression was just ok. I'm surprised he didn't say "ecstatic truth" though.

I think it's due a revisit. It's still Keanu's best role. I like the guy, and I know he works hard, but he always sounds like Ted no matter what he does. (though he has proved he has the chops to handle a bit o' Shakespeare when it comes down to it).

Maybe they can do a plot where Bill and Ted's phone booth is hijacked by surfing skydivers who rig it to explode if it slows below 40 mph, but then we realize it's all just a computer simulation and...
