We admit it. We occasionally use the web to find people other than ourselves, not always with the results we'd like. And no, we're not just talking about gals we've hooked up with (anaesthesiologist, Seattle) or wanted to (IT consultant, El Segundo). There's also a guy from high school who went to art school and kind of disappeared afterwards, with a name so common that it's impossible to sort through everyone who comes up on Google.
So maybe we'll give Lifehacker's "How to Track Down Anyone Online" a try and see if we can't find him. Better yet, we'll try it on ourselves first, just to see how it goes.
