Bill Murray joins Robert Duvall and Sissy Spacek for Get Low, “based on the true story of Felix ‘Bush’ Breazeale, a Tennessee recluse who planned his own funeral in 1938 while he was still alive and could enjoy it,” Variety reports. Murray and Lucas Black will play partners in the funeral home.
“The Ward is the kind of script that I've been looking for: a complex, visceral story, full of suspense and scares.” Who said it? It’s John Carpenter, who will direct the psychological thriller that “follows the disturbing experience of a young woman in an institution who is terrorized by a ghost,” per The Hollywood Reporter. Amber Heard stars.
It wouldn’t be a Morning Deal Report without depressing remake news, so let it be known that Slap Shot is next on the chopping block. Galaxy Quest director Dean Parisot will do the dishonors.
