Is one of our finest actresses (in more ways than one) finally coming to her senses and leaving this hot mess of a show? The New York Post reports she's thinking about it real hard:
Mary Louise Parker is considering leaving "Weeds," The Post has learned.
The star is under contract through next season, which would be the show's sixth, and a source close to one of the cast members said that she is planning to exit once her contract commitments are fulfilled.
The next question is, could there ever possibly be Weeds without Mary-Louise Parker? Considering there shouldn't even be Weeds with Mary-Louise Parker, we'd assume the answer is no. But The Post points out that next year's Jennifer Jason Leigh storyline leaves an opening for JJ Leigh to take over for MLP. That seems highly unlikely, but frightening nonetheless. Could one bad show take down two great actresses?
