From playing truth or dare in the backseats of cars to face painting with Claes Oldenberg, Rose + Olive maintain the uncanny ability to make the ordinary otherwordly, whether they’re philosophizing or using their hands. Sometimes both, at the same time.
Over in Brandonland, boys in the attic make everyday kitchen gloves just a little hotter than before. Also, another bare chap blisses out on the drums, wearing only a fuzzy hat and a facial expression that can only be described as nakedly peaceful.
Chase – while reassuring us that he is, in fact, not a creep (don’t worry baby, we never thought you were) – entertains with anecdotes about girls who go from sober to “spring break wasted” in a flash, crashing Goth clubs with sunshiny enthusiasm (“Who tells the DJ on people?”), and a reason to retain the bush.
The Daily Siege starts off our week with full, bright body shots and fierce, bound up faces. Also included: more sharp political relevance with a new, equally haunting shot of the Black Irish girl.
And Autumn explores further the naked body in and out of water, goosebump by goosebump, and gives us a sexy little shot of her favorite journalist’s desk.
